    Some people travel to see mom on mothers day if she lives within a reasonable distance. Not sure people have big pland for cinco de mayo except it is a Sunday.

    I have a mother and a MIL to visit.  Plus, I am a mother. Mothers Day weekend is very busy for me. I voted for Cinco de Mayo.

    I'd go to either one if given enough notice. Unless mom was a plane ride away (in which case I might not see her for Mother's Day anyway), I don't see why I couldn't do both.
