I got the robes from Macys you sent me!  They are originally 49 but I got them for 11 bucks a piece!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Plus I put them on my Macy's charge so I got points for them too!!!!!

    lol@mommy mode too..because I get it...and sometmes we need that dose of reality.

    Girl you know I see things from both sides....
    I get it though. They don't like the robes...I like them and so I got them...Even though its a public forum we have never ever ridiculed each other.  Or not that I have seen.  Even when our opinions differ.  We say what we want to say respectfully.

    After I saw that posted on the etiquette board I just decided that with 22 days left I will just stick with what I have been with for so long.  The tried and true.

    Yall keep it real but are still respectful.

    I am very thankful that we all know how to respect each other. BUT.. at times I wonder if we are being TRULY HONEST with each other.. I know that there are times that I would like to say something, BUT.. I know that truthfully.. we don't all REALLY know each other, and may not take that constructive criticism or past experienced information in the context that it is shared...

    I know that I may not like the way some may respond.. BUT.. it is their right to give it whatever way they want to give it...

    We have to remember... Public forum.. doesn't mean "sugar coated.. or holding your hand and rubbing your back" while we give the truth "sometimes"..

    Everybody is different... where I may not reply a certain way. ..DOESN'T MEAN someone else will do the same...

    ray just fyi, I saw your other post.   unless you plan to do it by hand, you can't monogram the robes you bought, fabric made from spandex doesn't (won't) survive the traditional monogramming process - which, as your friend might point out, includes heat.

    just a word about the honesty thing - I'd agree with your point that overall this is a respectful and uplifting board.  end of sentence.  equally, I'd point out that not all candid opinions are negative and if you really can't take somebody else's opinion, don't ask for it.  I mean that generally, that's not specific to you.

    Thanks for the info sultry...I just htought monogramming may be a good idea.  but if it doesnt work it  doesnt.Not a big deal for me. he probably would have told me the same thing you did.  That's just one less thing for me to do in my 22 days.....
