Happy birthday!!! 22 is a great age. Enjoy it!

I'm happy that I'm visiting my hometown, Milwaukee, this weekend. My parents are meeting our new dog for the first time, and I'm looking forward to our Margot meeting my parents' Rollie - Rollie is quite a bit smaller, and such a chicken around other dogs. Margot, however, is a total princess and is AMAZING around other dogs, so I hope it's a positive get-to-know-you experience for Rollie. I can't wait to snap pics of the ordeal.

And I'm meeting with a milliner on Saturday to have a fascinator custom-made (I won a free fascinator at a derby party last year, woohoo, and I'm finally having it made!) for my tea party bridal shower. It's going to be NEON PINK!

So I guess this weekend is great more than today is great, but I have nothing to complain about today, so that's great in and of itself.

Today is great b/c my husband has decided to stop arguing with people and becoming enraged about politics on FB and started a page about people doing good deeds for each other and their communites instead. I'm glad to see him focus on some positive energy!

Today is a great day because I can search for vacations and know I can actually book something. Today is also a great day because I will have clean clothes at the end of the night! Putting them away on the other hand... not so great.

Happy Birthday! Today is great for me because people are just starting to receive invitations for my second bridal shower and my MOH keeps texting me to say another person said yes! I am so excited to see all these friends and family members in one room. Today is also great because in two days, my mom and MOH are coming to see me in NY, and in three days, I am attending my first bridal shower.
