Mailing invites

Not sure if this matters, but should I take my invitations to the post office to be sent? Or, is it okay to just put them in a corner mailbox? I'm not sure why I am thinking there might be a difference, but I want to minimize the chance of any getting lost in the mail. I have already weighed one and bought the 66 cent stamps I need.

    I would drop them off at the post office. That way the delivery will go faster and you reduce the chance of any of them getting lost along the way, not that I'm stating the postal workers don't do their jobs well! It's just for peace of mind.

    We just put ours in the mailbox, but if it would make you feel better, go to the post office. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    We took ours to the post office.  I'm sure either would be fine, but since the post office was only two blocks away from where we were living at the time, it was just the most convenient for us.
