Antigua all inclusives?

After doing some research we have decided on Antigua for our honeymoon. Does anyone have any suggestions for all inclusive resorts? We want something romantic. But a somewhat lively at night. Some of the reviews I've been reading indicate the resorts are quite boring after 10pm. Thanks!

Re: Antigua all inclusives?

  • We stayed at sandals Antigua a couple years ago. I have a review and pics in the link above my siggy pic. As far as night life dying down early, it really depends on where you go and what time of year you go. We've noticed on our early anniversary trips we go in March/April that when its cold/cooler weather here it's a much older crowd we are in out late 30'early 40's but act much youngerin the Caribbean as opposed to when its warm/hot weather here. Our HM in St. Lucia for example was a younger crowd where as the trip we are on right now in Cancun is an older crowd.
  • We are going to Sandals Antigua for our honeymoon! :)
We are in the same boat - we want romantic and fun. From what I've read and heard, Sandals is perfect for what my fh and I were looking for. We booked one of the ridiculous deluxe rondoval rooms with a private pool and butler....wish we were there now!!!

When are you planning your honeymoon? We're going in July!
  • I have heard from numerous people  that St. James Club and Sandals are both fantatic. St. James Club is on the pricer side, but I heard it is def worth it.

I wish I would have gone to either one of those places when I went there.  We went to Jolly Beach and it was awful.  Whatever you do, don't stay there.
