I just got engaged March 16th and I'm a little worried about finding a reception venue. We are planning on getting married next year 2014 in March or April and I know that is prime New Orleans wedding time. We are looking for an indoor outdoor venue. Preferably a bare bones place that we can decorate ourselves but one that also has like an outdoor courtyard or porch or something. We also would love to bring in our own caterer and other venders. We want a pretty casual I would say dressy casual wedding in the afternoon at a fun unique location. We have a rutic outdoosry eclectic theme so no ballrooms or anything. We are considering the Northshore as well. Does anyone have any idea if there is a venue to match this? We could possibly be looking at 250 people but are hopefuly looking closer to 200220. We have a pretty fixed budget of no more than 20,000. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
