Candy buffet versus other favors

Hi ladies,

I need your advice. I can't decide if I want to do a candy buffet as my favors, or something different (our budget will not allow us to do both). The past several weddings I have been to have done the candy buffet. I personally do not ever take a bag, but I also don't care to have a candle or trinket with the couple's names/initials on it taking up space in my home. What are you all doing, and what do you prefer to get as a wedding guest? (There will be very few kids at our wedding, probably less than 10).

Thanks in advance for you help :)

It seems like this is the perfect scenario to not have ANY favors. They aren't required.

I didn't give any favors as DH & I could care less about them and instead spent the money on upgrading the bar/food/etc.
  • We had a candy buffet and candle favors.  I'd say just do something edible if you choose to do anything at all.
