Are you doing them?

I am not sure it is necessary if I only want my ceremony to last 30 mins. We are doing a very low key JOP ceremony.

I am not, same reason, super quick ceremony.

I do want to do a rememberance of some sort, but I am just not sure how I'm going to work it in. We may end up skipping it and I'll just carry a locket with me or something.

I think we are going to put a candle with their pictures at the gift table or one of the other tables so people know.

We are probably going to do programs because we are getting married in a church, and I always liked to read something during weddings.

We are having a table with family wedding pictures, going back to both of our great grandparents, kinda a "where we came from" thing. The remembrance is including some of our family members and extremely close friends who have passed away, and similar to Rochelle I like to read something and know who is who at a wedding.

That's what their pictures on the table will be for. I am making a sign that states something along those lines or getting a candle holder that has a saying on it.

I'm not doing them either.

However, at our venue, they have gas lamps you can pay $25 to have lit for the day, which I am doing, and they hang a personalized sign. The wording on our sign for the gas lamps is going to read "Lit in the honor of our family and loved ones who can't be with us today."

No program for us - the ceremony is way too short and even at 100 people, it's all mostly family. They all know eachother. We have one attendent each and we have been together for 6 years. There's nothing left to know.

For rememberance type stuff, we have 5 grandparents between the two of us that are no longer here. Two of the three on my side I did not meet. I have no idea what to do about this since my family and his family are expecting a memorial of some sort. I think I will so something simple and understated with the bouquet.

We are doing programs - to list the order of the ceremony, names of the readers, song choices, bridal party members, rememberance, etc.

Our ceremony will be approximately 1 hour long and held in a Presbyterian church.

Well. I was going to.... but... after reading PP's, now I don't know.

No. Wait. Nevermind. The MOB & MOG would probably go BSC on me if I didn't. I have stuff to make them for cheap. (8.5x11 cardstock folded in half. Printed on my own. Maybe I'll stick a ribbon bow on them. Maybe.) Our families don't know each other, and I'm sure my mom will love to have something else with her name on it.

I will be doing them. I'm going to make them look like little flags - one side will have all the info, and the other side will say 'Yay!' and 'Woohoo!' or something. I think it'll be cute and awesome.
