Wedding Invitations & Paper

Reply Card

Hi -

The place we are having our reception requires a list of what every guest is having for the main course (chicken, beef, vegetarian). I'm wondering how you create a reply card so that each guest's name is attached to what they will have for the main course.

I feel that if I put the following, then I won't know whose name to attach to what meal.

Suggestions???

M
Accepts with pleasure
Number of guests attending

Chicken
Beef
Vegetarian

<div>This is very similar to how we worded our reply cards. Here's our wording. (Keep in mind our invitations are informal style so you could change the wording to be more formal if you like the format.)</div><div>

</div><div>Did your venue tell you they need to know what each person is having?  Our venue wanted us to do a count, but that was just to give them an idea for ordering.  They still came around tableside the day of the wedding and took everyone's order.....if someone forgot or wanted to change it was fine.

Our venue was like OP's and required us to indicate which meal each person was having, not just provide a general count. We had to indicate each person's entree choice on his or her escort card. We worded our RSVP cards very similar to the above suggestion.
  • Thanks for the ideas. Our venue has asked to identify guests requests specifically so the day of they know exactly what each person is having and that person sitting at say table #1 seat #4 is having chicken..... They just bring to them without having to ask them that day.
