Looking for club referrals at or near Mandalay BAy

Do any of you that have already been married or frequent LV have any recommendations on night clubs? There are so many! I am thinkining after our in-suite reception the younger crowd would like to do something like that. Any opinions on Mix or Foundation Room? I see that there is a club called LAX necxt door at Luxor. Also I would like opinions on bottle service. Is it really worth dropping that much dough??? Thanks ladies!

    What night are you looking at? I never pay for bottle service and unless you need a place to sit all night it might nit be worth it....it starts at $400 I think

    I've been to Mix Lounge and Foundation Room quite a bit.  I prefer Mix but I also prefer more contemporary feel and electronic dance music.  Both have about the same view so between those two I'd chose based on decor, music and who gives you a better deal.

    I've heard good things about LAX but haven't been there myself.

    Bottle service at most clubs will typically be $300+ for a four person table, so if you've got a bunch of people you're taking, may be better off calling and seeing what you could reserve as far as a roped off standing area with some high tops rather than the traditional vip style sit down tables since that could get crazy if you have a lot of people.

    Anywhere on Saturday will be good but super packed....make sure u get on the guest list. LAX is amazing

    Bottle service is a service required if you want to get a seat at any club--basically, you pay anywhere from $300-1500 or so for a literal bottle of alcohol (usually a bottle of vodka), and along with that bottle of alcohol, you've given seating for about 4 people, a little butler, and various mixers (orange/cranberry juice) for mixing your drinks.  That's generally why when you go into a club via general admission all the seating areas are marked "reserved." :)

    Thanks for the info....I am having a hard time coming to terms with spending $400 per bottle of vodka. I think I may splurge...you only do this once right!?!

    Don't forget they'll add 20% on as mandatory tip too, so get their bottle prices in advance and adjust upward from there. :-)  Personally I can't bring myself to pay $400 for a $35 bottle of vodka, but I have no problem losing $400 at the craps table and asking the casino to get me a table and bottle at the club; well I guess you have to lose a little more than $400 but it all works out in the end lol

    Depending on how many people you have, you may want to look into VIP service. We looked at nightclubs and bars that ranged from $1600-$4000 for 30 people. Some have roped off areas, some have VIP rooms, some were AYCD, some had minimums. We ended up going for more of a lounge-bar, but were seriously considering Surrender for awhile.

    We did bottle service at Mix for our bachelor/bachelorette.  Went though group dining at MB and they gave us 1 bottle for 6 people.  They can also email you a bottle menu so you have an idea how much things cost.  But, each bottle is ~$250 plus tax and gratuity (add about %30).  It ends up being about $50 per person per bottle and this includes no line/no cover, a place to sit, and your own personal waitress.


    Agree with previous poster, bottle service is always worth it!
