Wedding Invitations & Paper

Post-wedding wording

Hey girls!  I am having a day time wedding on a Saturday that will be over by 5:30pm.  We have reserved a block of rooms at a nearby hotel and will be letting guests know by sending a card detailing all information with our invitations.  We don't expect many people to stay, but would like to let our guests know that we will be hanging out at the hotel bar after the reception and that everyone is free to join us, regardless of whether or not they will be spending the night.  Any ideas on how to word this??  Thanks!

Just spread the information via word of mouth at the reception. If the hotel is particularly hard to find, maybe have the address and some directions printed up and set them out by your guestbook/cardbox/wherever.

IMHO, nothing should be in the invitation unless you plan on hosting this afterparty.
  • Unless you're planning on hosting it, it needs to be by word of mouth.  Let a few people know that you're planning to hang out there after the wedding, and let it spread.
  • Agree with PPs that word of mouth is the best option here. Unless you want to make it a more formal affair that you're paying for that is.
  • Makes sense, we'll do word of mouth.  Thanks everyone! :)
