Using Ulta for pre wedding makeup application

Hi, Just wondering if any one has used Ulta for a pre wedding makeup application and how it went for you.  Also, what did it cost you and do they apply the cost toward makeup or is that seperate?  TIA

Re: Using Ulta for pre wedding makeup application

  • In my opinion, Ulta can be really hit and miss, since a lot of their makeup artists are representatives from one brand. If you can, I would try to go to Mac or Sephora. Both places have really makeup artists, and all it 'costs' is a $50 gift card. You will want to buy some lipstick/gloss anyways to keep for the day.
I have done this at Sephora many times for random occasions, since I spend so much money there anyways.
    Good luck!
  • Im using Ulta as well. I went for a trial and LOVED It. The person didnt work for one brand, and as a matter of fact, she used different brands for different things, depending on how it worked on me. It was $30 for the application, and the makeup will be extra.

  • Thanks ladies for the info.  I have a friend who is a makeup artist who just offered her services to me so I think this solves my issues.
