On The Beach Venue

Hello,

I am planning my wedding from Phoenix, Az and have never been to WA. We woud reallly like a beach wedding, does anybody have any ideas?

    What time of year is your wedding? Are you thinking like actual outdoor beach wedding or do you just want a venue on the water?

    I can think of a couple parks that you could have your ceremony at but even then, the weather would be a big if factor.

    Ocean shores does beach weddings and its a pretty place in the summer!

    We set Aug 2, 2014 as our date and we would like on the beach (barefoot) but if thats not possible outside waterfront is our next choice.

    Look into the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort. The resort and casino are separate and the resort sits on a small bluff over looking the puget sound. they have a gorgeous lawn and the view is amazing. They are a half hour ferry ride from Seattle, just right outside of Bainbridge Island. The staff there is amazing and if you book your wedding there you get a discount on room blocks.their website is clearwatercasino.com

    Also about 5 minutes from them is the Kiana Lodge, they are on the water but have a lovely garden right before you reach the water front. the lodge has a rustic feel to it.

    Birch Bay was quiet. You could also do it at Golden Garden's park in Seattle, and have your reception in their cute reception hall it holds under 150 I think

    Shilshole is on the water, but no beach. Same with The Edgewater. Both are in Seattle proper.
