So FI is finding out today if he is getting fired or not. A sensor did not go off on one of the doors he needed to secure to alert him it was slightly ajar. He swears he secured the door. But all his boss could say was how FI was making HIM look bad, and how HE had to come in on HIS day off to deal with this. Really, dude? It's all about you, not about FI, but you? We're getting married in ONE WEEK, so we're both already stressed as it is and now this!? FI was so depressed last night, and I'm already sick with stress as it is. Now I have to worry about him loosing his job without having another lined up, losing health insurance and having to go on the one my job offers, which means less money coming in and possibly not making rent and other bills. And he was so unsure of everything we ended up going back to his job to check if he secured some other doors at midnight (He works 5 minutes away from where we live so it wasn't too far a trip). I am just so pissed at his boss for making it about him and his image. Nothing about how FI can improve or anything, just how it's his image on the line.
Oh and this is the same guy who tells FI to be married to the job and not care about anything outside the job while on the job. Uhhhhh, he's getting married in a week. I think that's going to be on his mind. The man also said FI only needed the day of the wedding off, no other days and should be back by Monday. FI called in favors and has pretty much a week off and there's nothing his boss can do about it. But still, really?
Ugh, sorry for the vent, it's just this is the LAST thing we need right now.
