Customized Napkins.. would you?

Trying to decide if I should order customized cocktail napkins for the recption.  If I do, how many should I buy? We are expecting around 200-220 guests.  I would probably just keep them at the bar.. or should I have them at each place setting?

    I did order them from TK.  I think they were really cute.  Were they necessary, absolutely not.  We just had the servers hand them out with drinks during cocktail hour.  I would have enough for each guest.  When they run out, they run out.

    We expected 150 guests and I bought 300. They were only used for cocktail hour/bar although they could also be used for cake. I would not use them at the place settings.

    If you have the money it is a fun little touch.  I would rather spend the money on something a little more visible since the napkins will quickly get wadded up and thrown in the trash.

    If you really want them and you have some extra cash then there is nothing wrong with ordering them.  But honestly, like PP said, I would rather save the money or spend it on something a bit more noticeable then small napkins that will just get thrown away.

    Thanks everyone! You are right about people just throwing them away.. but I think they might be a nice touch... ah something to think about haha! :)

    I suggest not to put a date or make them too wedding-ish.  We still have leftovers from my 2008 wedding.  Since we didn't put a date and only used our names and a starfish we are able to still use them.  Of course we still forget to use them, but at least we can.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    I caught them on sale for a super cheap amount, so I said "why not?" and got them.  They didn't make or break the reception, but they were cute.

    I had a lot left over, and put one in my scrapbook for the wedding.
