Hot to let guest know bout registry

We are planning on buying a house after the wedding so I would love if people did look at the registry. But how? People say its tacky if I put info in the invitations, but I don't know how else to let people know, not really wanting to do a website.

Help plssss

Re: Hot to let guest know bout registry

  • Tell your mom and bridal party. Most people will ask and you can tell them. Word of mouth has seemed to work best.

    Thanks,

  • If anyone is throwing you a shower, it's ok for them to include your registry info on the shower invitation.  Otherwise, those who want to know will ask you or someone close to you, or just do some light Googling.  Honestly, the past few friends of mine that have gotten married, I've gone on BBB, Target, Macy's, Kohl's, Crate & Barrel, etc. to see if they have a registry.  If your registry is at a store or stores that are common registry spots, your guests can easily figure it out!

  • It's called "google" and it works really well.

</div><div>Ditto PP....if you are having a shower, whoever is hosting should include this in the invitation.</div><div>
</div><div>As for the wedding, most people in NJ give cash.  Those that prefer to buy a gift will ask where you're registered.  We even had one couple that never asked us where we were registered yet still managed to figure it out.....it's not hard with today's technology.  :D

  • I suggest relying on The Google.
