Helping my family plan a wedding

I will start by saying that this is very very affordable wedding, the bride wants an outdoor ceremony (currently looking for park gardens to rent) and they are looking for a nice affordable restaurant in North  Jersey  to have a lunch after. I am helping my brother in law who is trying to make his bride's dream come true even if it is a little bit as if it was up to him they would just go to city hall. Any ideas on outdoor gardens in North Jersey that are not expensive? Please advise. Thanks!

  • Look into Liberty State Park.  Since its a State Park, the fee might be minimal.

  • How far into NJ are you willing to come?  If you can travel all the way to Sussex County or western morris county you have lots of choices.

I'd recommend the Arlington in Lake Hopatcong, the lake Hopactong Elks if you want super cheap, the Jefferson House, Persona Farms in Andover or the Lake Mohawk Country Club.
