Lanterns as Centerpieces

Hello,
I was thinking of using different types of Moroccan lanterns as my wedding centerpieces. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have any ideas how to incorporate flowers to soften it up a bit? thanks.

I would google "lattern centerpieces" and see what you come up with. I think you have tons of options and it would be beautiful.

I am using lanterns but they are moroccan inspired. its a set of three lanterns 1 large, 1 medium, 1 small, with candles inside. I will be using a damask table runner along the table and sprinkling rose petals on the table. I also have votive candles that i may use but i am going to do a mock up to see what looks good.

I've seen these lanterns with flowers inside and surrounded by candles. It looks beuatiful.

I'm doing Morracan lanterns as well. I'm going to have a few small vases with flowers in them and attatch a flower or two on the lantern.

I'm using lanterns as part of my centerpieces, as well. They have purple glass panes, and we're putting candles in them. We're also having hard cover book stacks with romantic titles stacked and tied together with ribbon in our wedding colors, with the lanterns either stacked on top of a book stack or next to the books, with votive candles around them and flower petals on the table. I found my lanterns on ebay.
