Need some prayers

I got a call earlier today from my brother saying that my grandmother had a stroke this morning and is in the hospital. She is in her 90's... which means it may be very hard (if possible at all) for her to recover.

I will probably be driving down to Harrisburg to be with her this weekend... and could definitely use some prayers and positive energy.

Funny thing... she always said when I was growing up (she used to babysit my brother and I)... whenever I would do something nice for her, instead of "Thank you"... "I'll dance at your wedding"... Kevin and I were just talking the other night about how sad we will be that she won't be able to make it due to her failing health... If she doesn't pull through, I know exactly what she'll be doing on the 28th.

She is such a fun lady (I think I have posted something about her before with her velcro sneakers, bright flower print dresses and always always a non-matching cardigan)... I know she will be partying it up wherever she may be. I used to go visit her at her assisted living place... for happy hour... no BS. They actually drink (booze) and dance. Freaking hilarious!! Even at 94 she is still a party animal. It's hard to imagine her in a hospital bed. I spoke to my aunt and she told me that she is paralyzed on her right side and barely responsive.

I want so badly for her to pull through, but at the same time I don't want her to suffer at all. keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! I only had one grandparent growing up and it was my mom's mom, then she passed away when i was in college and it made me realize how much i appreciated her. Now i practically cling to FI's grandparents and give them nicknames. But I especially love grandma's they are so stinking cute, i just want to hug them all!
