Wedding Dress Alterations...help!

Can anyone give me suggestions of a good cost effective place to get alterations done on my wedding dress.  My dress was only $750 dollars, I don't want to have to pay half of that amount for the alterations.

Help me please.
I lean on him for strength and he can fall back on me for support!!!

    Most girls on here have used either Becky Fowler (beckyfowler1@live.com) or Leigh Anna with Maybe Sew (sorry, don't have contact info for her).  Both are very talented and very well-priced.

    Email Becky soon because she tends to book up.  If she can't fit you in, she will probably give you Leigh Anna's number.

    I agree with PP, I used Becky Fowler and she's very reasonably priced. I had bra cups put in a train taken off, the length shortened and it was way under what i thought it would be.

    I actually just called Becky to get a bridesmaids dress altered for a May 11 wedding, and she was booked up every weekend until then, so I have to go get fitted in the middle of the week.
    Just FYI.

    I'm glad you said something, Carrie.  I need to get ahold of her for a dress I need in September, but I'm going to have to wait until Miller Lite gets here to get it altered!

    Becky Fowler is sweet and very reasonable price and turnaround time. I booked my appt back in Jan (very far in advance, just to get it out of the way with) for my appt today. But, yes, it is a very busy season, so call & book early.
