Working Out

Now that my semester ended I am going to go to the gym almost everyday. I have a trainer who kicks my butt once a week and I have a pretty good routine when I am by myself. I know that I am not going to loose what I want to loose because I just don't have the time before the wedding. I mean, really, what could I do in 38 days? Maybe drop 8 lbs, if I'm lucky.

If I don't loose anything or tone up at all I'll be sad but at least I'll know I gave it a good try. Oh and I'm glad I added over the shoulder cap sleeves to my dress so maybe I won't feel too bad about my fat arms.

Re: Working Out

  • I think you could do a lot in 38 day, but it really depends on how much you have to get rid of. Or how much fat you have over the muscle. I wish I could get with a trainer, I'm stuck running outside or videos inside. I'm trying to start back since school has ended. I'm determined to go this afternoon. Thankfully "winter" here and it is 70 degrees for the high today.

<div>I would love to tone up and loose 10lbs by the wedding. </div><div>
</div><div>By April 1, I would <strong>love</strong> to loose 25lbs. I am going to Jamaica and I will be teaching fitness at a resort. (I used to be a fitness trainer and I'm still certified). I have to teach 2 classes a day but me and a guest (my FI) get to stay at the all inclusive resort for free. We just have to pay the fitness company $350 as a placement fee and buy our own plane tickets. I cannot show up as the fitness "pro" weighing the 185lbs that I do now!  </div>

  • Thank Aleigha. I apprecaite your help. I would love to try that problem is I can't devote 20 minutes to working out in the morning, especially on the days work.

[QUOTE]I met with a nutritionist and this worked for me. Lost 4 pounds water weight the 1st week. It's worth a try ladies. First thing when you wake up drink 12oz water then eat a piece of fruit drink 8 oz water mixed with fiber. (I like benefiber it doesn't taste like anything) then work out 15-20 min just enough to get heart rate up then eat high protein low cal like 3 egg whites and Canadian bacon is good option. That's it. Takes me 20 extra min in the morning but I have seen a huge difference with minimal effort. The the combination of these things acts like a natural stimulant. After a few days you have more energy too.

Interesting.  What kinds of workouts are you doing for those 15-20 minutes?

  • Tara I bet you can lose 8-10lbs by the wedding. You haven't he dedication to do it! Try not to be too hard on yourself if you don't lose the weight but still work out. You, as a personal trainer, know the benefits of working out (aside from the physical).

    You can do this girl!

I'm sure the extra fiber could be consumed in another way, through whole wheat toast other than a processed substance. It does "stimulate" you.

The fiber just helps keep you fuller longer and go to the bathroom.
