Choosing my wedding party

So I am kind of having a tug of war about my wedding party. I originally planned for 6 bridesmaids and my fiance had chosen 6 groomsmen, well now he has decided only 5... and wants me to get rid of one of my bridesmaids.... I don't know how I am suppose to choose between 6 of my best friends, 2 of which are my sisters..... So I was thinking would it look tacky if one of the groomsmen walked with two girls??

Nope. Not tacky at all. They also don't need to walk together. The groomsmen can stand at the front with FI and bridesmaids could process in. There are tons of options.

If you've already asked your bridesmaids, you can't get "rid" of someone unless you want to ruin that friendship!
  • Ditto MS.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • You don't need to have even sides. I don't. My FI and his GM are processing in together, then the BMs are going to process in by themselves.

You can either do: single file, have the groomsmen already up at the altar with your FI or pair them up and have one guy with two girls.

  • Having uneven sides is fine, and it also shows that you care more about relationships than ratios.

You can have a groom walk two girls, or you can have them enter seperately.  We did seperate entrances so nobody had to walk with someone they didn't know, and so that the photographer got great solo photo ops.
