Essex County Rehearsal Dinner Suggestions?

Hello all,

I was looking for some suggestions that others may have for a nice place to host our rehearsal dinner at.  The requirements we are looking for are a place that can sit between 25-30 people comfortably, possibly BYOB but not a dealbreaker, most likely Italian but open to some other suggestions, and of course to have really great affordable food.  We would like the place to be within Essex county but if there is some place absoluty amazing thats near Essex county please feel free to suggest it!

    I've been to a RD at Pal's Cabin in West Orange. It isn't Italian or fancy, but it was affordable and we had our own room.

    Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Pals just recently closed!  That place was around forever.

There are a few options at Calandra's Italian village in Caldwell. Cucina Calandra and Calandra's Mediterranean Grill are both in Fairfield on 46.

    Millburn has some great spots. see if you can rent out cafe luna! it is byob and small , affordable and delicious food/ romantic vibe

    We had our rehearsal dinner at Due Amici in West Orange.   It was family style Italian and BYOB.  We had about 35 people in a private room.  The food was great, very reasonably priced.  We were very happy with them.

    We're having ours at Eppes Essen in Livingston! The prices are great and we liked the casual, laid-back feel of it. It's a place my family and I have been going to FOREVER so that makes it special - and who doesn't love delicious Jewish deli food?

    Well things just changed and now the location looks to be in the Hudson county region near North Bergen area.  Still looking for the same options as mentioned in the first post but now up in Hudson county instead.  Thanks for all the suggestions so far, we tried out many of the places mentioned and were going to go with one until plans changed.  I hope somoene could help us out equally as much again with the new location to find us something good!
