Ohhh god....so I have a meeting tonight with my mom and an event coordinator and I just get a txt from my sister asking why she wasn't invited and I'm like ummmm? I mean my FI isn't even coming...seriously I have no clue why she even WANTS to come.

    Sounds like she might just be excited for you. Maybe the next time you're doing something DIY or going to the florist or something, invite her to tag along. If she goes off the deep end, stop talking about the wedding with her.

    Just sounds like she wants to be involved and is excited for your wedding plans.  Give her a break.

    Is there some backstory we dont know that makes it hard for us to understand why this doesn't sit well with you?

    If she is just excited then, yeah, give her a break.  If she is like my toxic, bat poop crazy sister then I feel your pain.

    it was just really bizarre because most days she doesnt care about the wedding plans or the things i have made decisions on. When i picked flowers and invitations she was like "ehhhh" which is fine does not bother me. but then i get this txt out of the blue last night saying "well im glad im invited" in a sarcastic manner and i was like its a budget meeting with an event coordinator, my FI isnt even coming! and she was po'ed because my mom was going, but she was the one introducing me to the event planner!

    that was a point brought up in the intial part of the conversation, and you are right, sometimes i just have bad habits. :D
