This is more of an FYI for future brides like myself who have quite a large guest list but are trying not to go broke.
I just got off the phone with Root River Center (in Franklin). Not only do they allow you to bring your own food (doesn't have to be a caterer, you can bring YOUR food if you want), but their only requirement is that you spend $10/person (minimum).
So this means, for my guest list of 200, I need to only spend $2k on food/drink. If you don't spend it on food and drink, then you need to pay the difference. So, if I spend only $1k, I pay the $1k difference. CHEAP!!
Not the fanciest place, but if you're just looking for a simple place to party with friends and family, this is it.
