Ideas to display engagement quotes

My fiance proposed on the beach in Maui after sunset (it was actually dark by the time he got me to leave the restaurant).

Anyway, because it was a shock, there are some funny quotes from that night.

"Holy $hit!!!" - when I finally saw the ring because it was dark.
"Does this mean there's going to be a wedding?"
"I'm going to throw up"
 - etc etc. He actually wrote them all down the next morning, those are just the ones I remember.

Is there any creative way to display them at the reception. I don't want to force people to read them but thought I'd put them in the corner so people could look if they wanted to. It also might be a conversation starter too. Ideas on how to do this creatively?

<div>Ehh, I wouldn't bother.  I don't think people want to see "I'm going to throw up" as they're getting ready to eat dinner.  </div><div>
</div><div>I also think quotes are a heck of alot funnier when photos of that scene are incorporated, and it doesn't sound like you have that.  Perhaps you could incorporate them instead into a scrapbook/album/collage you have for your memories. </div>
  • This is one of those details that is very special to you but won't be to anyone else. I agree it's best kept as a memory but not incorporated into the wedding.

This is why I love the knot. One less thing to worry about/plan. Thanks!

  • I honestly don't see either the "romance" or the "fun" of those particular quotes.
