Help: Hair Up or Down? PIP/XP <3

I did my hair trial when I had a different dress (I'm not crazy, I ripped the first one!). Now, I don't know if the hair goes with the new one.

Here's my dress:

Here's the original hair trial, to which I would be adding some clip in extensions to make the curls longer - also, where do you put a veil??:

But now, I'm thinking of going all up in a big ol' bun w/ a sparkly headband, like these:

so... what should i do?

I think it is more formal up. Also a bun may stand a better chance at lasting for hours on end.

What jewelry are you wearing? I really like the hair up with that dress, and if you have chunkier earrings and necklace, it will look great!

I like the look of up with a clip more, plus it looks a lot more symmetrical with the veil that way. And in your pics, the hair up looked better with that kind of dress. Just make sure you have some dangly earrings or a necklace if you wear it up though to break up some of that space. Pretty dress though!!

I like hair up I think. The dress is so pretty and ruffley that the hair up looks much more classic with it rather than competing a bit.

oh with that jewelry, then definitely hair up! you probably don't even need a clip if you have a veil, that could be almost too much.

Hair up and I agree with comment of no headband because your jewelry is gorgeous on its own and the headband may be too much

My headband isn't like the one in the picture. It's a super tiny thin one with tiny rhinestones.. it's like micropave, except from Claires. So I might still go with it.
