xp: Inivite wording.

How do I need to put the date on the invites? I like the way "Saturday, June 29th, 2013" looks better than all spelled out. It is way long and looks off. Are those commas ok?

Also, trying to word "Ceremony to begin at 6'oclock in the evening/afternoon?"

Tips? Thanks!

Sure, you can put the date however you want. STDs are informal. I would leave the time off if a STD. If someone just neeeeeedsssss to know for travel purposes, they'll call you. BTW, it's much to late for STDs if your wedding is in June.

At six o'clock (in the evening is implied)

  • I think it depends on the formality of the event. Traditionally the date is spelled out.

In the version you put in your OP you would drop the comma after 'Saturday'. PP is correct about the time.
