6" cube vases?

Does anyone know where I can buy 6" cube vases in a store?  I need twelve of them for my centerpieces and I found a few places online where I can get them for about $50 and then it costs another $50 to ship them so I'm trying to avoid that!

I don't have time/patience to go through all of the "vase" listings on the classifieds board.  Thanks!

Re: 6" cube vases?

  • Did you try Michael's? Or even a store like TJ MAX or Homegoods might have them.  Or if they have Hobby Lobby in your area.

  • Do you have any dollar trees near you? They have glass pieces.

  • I haven't actually gone shopping yet since I just decided to add another centerpiece to each table(8 ft tables with 10 people at them).  I figured all of those might have cube vases but I'm not sure what size they carry.  Unfortunately, you can't really tell from their websites if they carry exactly what you're looking for.  I won't be able to go shopping this week since I'm flying to Pittsburgh for my bridal shower early Thursday am but maybe I will have some time at the beginning of next week?

Ikea has the vases online but not the 6" ones...boo.  They have to be 6" b/c the wedding planner is providing the other half of the vases and they might be kind of obvious to anyone that's looking closely if half of them are 6" and half of them are 5" lol.
  • I don't think anyone will notice. Or if you can't find the same size as the wedding planner, you can always alternate the sizes so it looks more uniform.

Agree with above!  I wouldn't stress if you can't find excactly the same size. Even a really  obvious difference like a really small cube vase  or a much larger one will make it appear as though you were going for varied sizes.

I think even Walmart carries a cube vase.  I dont' know how many they would have in stock but they do free site to store if you find them on their website!

  • Yea, I figured that if I can do the 5" vases and do 6 tables with 2 6" vases each and 6 tables with 2 5" vases each then no one would really pick up on it.  Still, I'd like to get the 6" puppies if it's possible :-)  Thanks ladies!

I need to make room for the baby so I'm getting rid of the décor from our garden themed wedding (just last summer). All of these are perfect for an outdoor Spring or Summer wedding. I’m willing to sell them for just a little more than the cost to ship or you are welcome to pick them up if you are local (northern VA area). Here is a list of what I have:

    7 large white lanterns
    16 small white lanterns
    7 square glass vases

    Table cards (tree themed)

14 Tree stump card holders (see pic below)

Dragonfly magnets and other dragonfly décor

Unity Sand (one container of tan brown and one of white).
    Bird Cage card holder

Fake moss / grass / twigs

When I saw this post I thought of you. Hopefully it helps....

  • What is the Christmas Tree Shoppe?  Do they have a website?
  • Yea, that's not going to work...there aren't any near me or anywhere I'll be in the next 24 days(all over the southeast by way of I-75, I-10, and I-95)!!

    Le sigh...
