Outdoor, summer makeup??

My wedding will be outdoors in the very humid month of June, and my face is always the first part of my body to start to sweat... Does anyone have any suggestions for the longest lasting makeup, preferably for oily skin?? I have already sampled Make Up Forever, and I was not a fan. So any other brands or techniques would be greatly appreciated!!

<div>Someone recommended Urban Decay Deslick, but I haven't tried it yet. </div>
  • I like using tinted moisturizers in the summer in place of foundation & then just some light powder. I have seen special tissues for dabbing your face to asorb oil & sweat that might be worth having in your bag.

Yep. Go to the drugstore and get a pack of these. I have really oily skin and have to blot at least once a day just sitting in the office so I'll definitely have a pack on hand for my wedding.
ETA: I also use Neutrogena Shine Control powder with rice protein complex and it works better than any other powder I've tried.

  • Try the Urban Decay Deslick setting spray before and after putting on your makeup. Use an oil control primer, I like Neutrogena's oil control primer, and then use a matte foundation. Make Up For Ever at Sephora has a good one. Then use a setting powder like MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural or Neutrogena has a good one that is for oil control that Jenna mentioned.

  • Ben Nye, a theater makeup company, makes a setting spray that is half the price or less of the Urban Decay one and I knwo they use it at Disney World on the characters and it's hot as heck in Orlando for like 9 months our of ht eyear!  It's called Final Seal and come sin a travel size or bigger size.  I usually spray like 3 times THEN put on my mascara as it can make it wet and if you are a blinker like I am, it ends up making the mascara bleed a bit.  My makeup does not move and other then maybe 1 application of pwder a day, I never need to do anything else about it for the rest of the day.  You can get it online or usually at most theater supply stores. Stuff is usually $5-9, depending on size. I LOVE it!
