Hello my loves! I hope all is well with you all! Sunday is my big day! We gonna get it poppin' round 3 and end at 9. Thank you all for your help and for sharing your awesome ideas. I'm so glad to have come across this board and to "meet" so many great women. Love you all like sisters! Enjoy the time you have left and just breathe cuz once you hit the double digits you're in for a helluva ride lol.
So, the last couple weeks have been crazy.
MOH has been dismissed from the bridal party after the shananigans she pulled for the b-party. Long story short she wasn't a good planner and was falling behind with everything she promised she would do, BM got tired of it and informed me I kept quiet until she left BM a long message basically saying she was doing and spending too much which infuriated BM and resulted in MOH getting a nice long curse out. {About a week before this I asked MOH I f she was still going to skip out on b-party being as though the girl she didn't like(check link below if you missed that) was at the bridal shower and all was well she should be ok for this this heffa had the nerve to tell me she still wasn't coming and instead invited her BMs over(she's getting married in HI in Aug, which FI and I will make our honeymoon) to try on their dresses bc she wants to see everyone together, um won't I be missing so how are you gonna see everybody in their dresses smdh.} The curse out was the day before the b-party. MOH was supposed to get decorations and party favors to BM and never did. Never called me to see how my party went or cared to let me know why she didn't deliver on the promise she made. Party was Sat I called her Mon to see what was good and all she could say was me, me, me, me and she didn't appreciate how she was spoken to and more me, me, me. I let her know she was thinking about herself way too much at a time when it wasn't about her. I put the ball in her court she passed to me and I informed her that I did want her to attend the wedding but didn't want her to be MOH anymore. She understood and said she still wanted to be there for me and asked what time do I need her. I told her I would get back to her on that. 5 minutes later I received a text stating that she wouldn't be there at all bc she didn't wanna cause any tension or stress on me... whatever! All of this within the last couple of days.
I also got into with my dad who I called just to see whether or not he was coming to the wedding and he tells me family said that I said I didn't want him there. That pissed me off so we went at it. I did tell family that I didn't care whether he showed up or not since he can't seem to make it to any other events. I tried to involve him in the process even though he's never been a great father but he didn't want to be involved so I stopped trying. After all that was said I still don't know if he's coming but I do have a seat for him if he does show up. I won't hold my breath tho, I replaced with my brother.
A bunch of other lil stuff happened but nothing as major as those two stories above.
B-Party!
FI and I had ours the same night. He lost his phone that night I lost my stomach (I think the food got me sick I haven't been able to eat a full meal since without getting sick). I arrived to BM house around 8 we had a pleasure party (sex toys and fun bedroom stuff). There were shots of chocolate cake (spilled some on my white dress lol), glasses of moscato, strawberries that marinated in vodka for 24hrs (they were delish) and cupcakes. The party was so much fun the vendor did her thing and I learned that my friends are some straight freaks! At the beginning I was given a bell to ring every time I liked something and the girls bought everything that was on my list along with a chest to keep it in! Then the night went South I heard that the invitation said that I requested no strippers (no I didn't I wanted to see some strippers wtf), so we crossed the bridge and went over to this restaurant which also has karoake. This place was ok for casual night out, but I heard the invitation said for everyone to dress really nicely with heels. We were way too overdressed for this placed I was pissed. 1) We dressed nice as hell and we here 2) who the hell said I wanted to do karaoke 3)this was a Mexican restaurant (I usually like Mexican but not for that night). I ordered a quesadilla and that's when my sickness began on top of that I had a very bad headache bc I hadn't eaten since earlier that day expecting there would be food as promised at the b-party (cupcakes is not food). We ate most of us unsatisfied, waited forever to be called up for our moment of shine we finally got called and were informed we could only do one song bc they were closing soon. I chose Beyonce get me bodied. We left and drove around trying to find something else to do bc they saw on my face how dissapointed I was. We ended at a local bar but wasn't felling the crowd drove to another place that we heard was nice that night but they weren't letting anyone else in. We gave up! Although I got sick and wasn't feeling the end of the night I did enjoy being out with the girls and making the best out of it.
That was a lot and trust and believe I could've wrote a whole lot more. This is a shortened version of recent events. Excuse the typos and other grammatical errors. I'll be lurking so I'll see comments but probably won't be posting again til Mon or Tue with a recap!

Oh yea and they decorated my desk, got me a cake, had some food and gave me a $50 gift card to BBB to wish me and FI well. I was so caught off guard cuz I'm new and didn't think they would go all out for me like that
