Hey all! I posted last week about the puppy my FI and I were adopting, Penelope. Sure enough, we are already calling her Penny. She is adapting super well to crating, and as well as can be expected to with potty training at 8 weeks, but hates her leash.
She hardly vocalizes, even during play, and uses just enough to notify us it's time to potty during the night time. She is so energetic and playful and we really adore her even though we are pooped.
But dear god...the new puppy underneath us is so poorly taken care of. The last few weeks they have encouraged and excited that dog to bark and vocalize all day, but now they are busy and she has been crying for the
last two hours straight. Maybe we were blessed with a good puppy, but we also have opposite shifts so she is never alone more than two hours and gets the attention a puppy deserves and needs to grow into a good dog.
