question about chair covers

Today, we went to the reception location to see how the simple chair covers that we had found would fit on the chairs.  They were a bit tight, and didn't go all the way down to the bottom of the chair.  I mean, they were better than nothing, but not amazing.

The rental place also has a different style of chair cover that seems to be a tad bigger, so may work better.  They are teh satin chair covers that have some sort of gather or swirl at the back.

My question is- if these fit better, would you add a sash to this type of chair like you would to the plain covers?

thanks

</div><div>I think you're overthinking this.  They're chair covers.  No one is going to be looking at your chairs.  :D</div><div>
</div><div>If you're really insistent on getting them, I would need to see pictures to pick out which I like better.  Most people that do chair covers do a neutral chair cover and a sash that matches their wedding color and the linens on their tables.

I normally wouldn't have bothered with the covers at all since they seem fussy, but the chairs at this location have horrible upholstery, like worn out horrible.  The location is beautiful, and they have upgraded most eveything else, but not the chairs.  I know that people just sit in them, but they are pretty bad.

We were going to do the regular covers and coloured sashes, but they covers don't fit right.  These covers may, however:

I'm assuming that since they have the swirly thing at the back, they don't need a sash?

  • Hi,

No, I would not use a sash with those chair covers. My question is why would you rent them when it is less expensive to purchase and resell? I have these in so many colors. You can either phone or email me with any questions. 727-597-1667. icesculptures4u@tampabay.rr.com
