Bars in Downtown Detroit

Hi Ladies! My Bachelorette party is this weekend and we have a party bus but nowhere to go! I don't go down town alot so i'm pretty clueless on the area. Can anyone recommend any good bars to go to downtown? I'm looking to dance my butt off all night :)

Thank you in advance!

If you go to MGM you dont need to bar hop. They have a hip hop club upstairs Ignite, and down stairs is V which is more top 40/ electro . They are both amazing clubs.  personally I wouldnt go outside the casino in downtown detroit . I dont know of many or any bars /clubs down there right now that are HYPE. If you want the name of the DJ or promoters at those clubs they will set you up with tables (you dont have to buy bottle service). </div><div>

  • I like Delux for dancing. It's on the edge of Greektown (sorta kitty corner from the Old Shillellagh) and is kinda a club meets martini bar meets sports bar (they have darts and such in a corner). It's small, but fun. They play a variety of music, so it's not one style like House or Techno. Delux is a dance club without being a traditional "club" if that makes sense.

I haven't been to any of the casino clubs, but have heard good things.

  • Greektown area is a good bet - there's Delux, Old Shillelegh, and The Well - all busy on a weekend night and fun for a bachelorette party.  I've been to V at MGM for a bachelorette party as well - fun, but we also stayed the night in a suite at the MGM.
