Improper Wedding Invitaions

My sister and her fiance did their wedding inviations without consulting anyone and there are many mistakes. The most major mistake being they did not include a place to put the guests name so we know who and how many are attending. They also did not put the recepetion as starting a the proper time, in fact starting an hour later then planned. My question is what is the proper etiquette for correcting these mistakes? The inviations are a reflection on the brides parens and they feel this is embarrassing. HELP!!!

</div><div>Sounds like the best way to correct it is to reorder.  Sure, it's an extra cost, but I'd rather not have formal wedding invitations have so many blatant errors.

I forgot to include she already sent them out...
  • Then she needs to contact everyone and clarify the times.
  • I understand that with invitations, there comes proper etiquette, but it's an invitation. She is your sister, their daughter. At the end of the day, if they are SO embarrassed about how their child sent out an invitation, over everything else, it seems kind of silly.  She should just contact individual guests if there are issues with where to put the names, or conflict of when it was supposed to start versus what is on the invitation.
    Wedding Countdown Ticker
  • I would print up a nice correction about the time on card stock and send it out, if it were my invitation.  There's also the option to call people and explain the time error.  I wouldn't draw more attention to any of the other errors.

Since it is not yours (or your parents) invitation, there is nothing you should do.
