All white or ivory?

I found a dress I absolutely love. It fits the castle/botanical garden theme we are having. The problem is that the dress comes in both all-white and in ivory. The ivory is NOT deep such as a champagne, but the nice part is that you really notice all of the details. The all-white is a beautiful wedding gown and the "stereotypical white." I am torn because I love both colors, they both work my complexion and hair color, so any input or thoughts?

    If both go well with your complexion, this is purely an aesthetic question.  There's nothing inherently better about white than ivory.  And with most ivories, there's not a drastic difference between it and white.  Just go with what you like more, and it sounds like you think ivory shows the detail more.

    Does the ivory seem a "softer" version of the white?  My dress was ivory, but you'd never know it unless I told you.  If it shows the detailing better, I'd go with the ivory.  Can you post both colors?

    What color flowers are you going with? Since I'm using primarily white flowers I decided to go with white for my dress just becase I didn't want my flowers to make my dress look "dingy"

    Ivory looks better on almost all complexions. And white flowers would not make an ivory dress look dingy. Most "white" flowers are offwhite anyway.
