BLEGGGHHH. My boss was gone for 2 weeks and just got back today, so she spent time checking in with each one of us. My performance has sucked for the last two months, so I was expecting this, but it still hurts. I'm meeting with her (in person) on Thursday to set up a "performance plan". She talked all about how it's a great "tool" to improve one's performance, but as a manager I know it's something that you have to do before you can fire someone.
I've been looking for a new job for a few weeks now, since I know this position isn't right for me. I have another interview this Wednesday that I am really excited about, I can tell it's something I would love doing, and I just hope 1) they like me and 2) the salary is decent. I just wish I could fast forward time to when I have a job that doesn't make me cry nearly every day :-(
