So we found out tonight that FIL's brain tumor is cancerous-stage IV and very aggressive. We are waiting on the MRI next week to know more. Neurologist says most likely there is more in there but it may be inoperable because it's right next to his vision center.
Radiation and chemo will definitely happen. It's a cancer you don't ever get rid of I guess--you beat it down, it comes back, over and over again. Good news is he could fight this for 20-30 years possibly (he is 51).
H is devastated, understandably so. Just a month ago his dad was so normal, healthy, happy, just got back from Hawaii, planning a renovation on the house, etc. Then BAM. This month has been hell.
Prayers, thoughts, vibes--whatever it is you do, if we could have some, we would really appreciate it! This is going to be a rough battle, but we're going to fight it.
