Would you be hung up on this detail?

I'm not sure it's a big issue, but I want some input.  LOL!

I ordered 60x126 table linens in navy.  However, I held off and was working on finding the yellow ones to match, because my tables are alternating yellow & blue (rectangular).  I cannot find (in stock) yellow 60x126 anywhere.  I can, however, find 60x120.  It's a minor difference, but if you were a guest, would you notice that difference?  They will be next to each other, usually with 3 foot in between each table.  Basically, I have tables lining the perimeter of the tent, with the center being the dance floor.

Re: Would you be hung up on this detail?

  • That is only a difference of 3 inches on either side.  that is definitely not something that I would notice as a guest.

  • Keep in mind that there will also be chairs, so I don't think it'll be a noticeable difference.

  • I have yellow 60 x 126 new and ready to go. Drop me an email at icesculptures4u@tampabay.rr.com
  • Another vote for it not being noticeable! FWIW, I'm very much a perfectionist, but even I would probably either not notice this difference, or I might even think it's intentional. If all the yellow ones are the same and all the navy ones are the same size, I think it's fine.

  • As someone who has a pretty obsessive attention to visual details I can totally understand why you're concerned about it.  However, I am pretty darn certain your guests will not notice so I'd try not to worry about it.
  • I think it would be fine. If all the blue ones are 60x126 and yellow are 60x120, I would think you did that on purpose! I think it will look great!
  • i wouldnt care even if i did notice.

  • Thank you all for your replies!!  I felt the same, but needed to know it wasn't just me :)

I figured that if someone did make a snide remark, they really weren't someone who should have been there anyways.  :)
