Father of the Bride/Groom & Stepfather's Attire

My fiance opened up the tux rental to fathers if they wanted it. But now we're faced with this question. Is it ok if the Father of the Bride does not want to wear a tux, but the mother of the bride wants her husband (bride's step-father) in a tux? Or do they all have to match? Will a black suit for some, and tuxes for others work?

    Ditto PP. My dad and FI's dad opted to rent a tux, while my stepdad is wearing a suit jacket and slacks he already owns. Both guys are going to look very handsome and I doubt anyone will notice.

    Yeah, my father got really dressed up for my wedding and DH's father just wore a nice suit that he already had for work. They both looked awesome (and honestly, the day was such a blur I couldn't have told you what anyone was wearing other than the wedding party and our pastor. One of my cousins came in jeans and a sweatshirt and I didn't even notice until she said 'hi' to me at the reception.)
