What should my groom wear?

This is my dress. It's champagne and ivory. My bridesmaids will be wearing dark purple. What color should my groom & groomsmen wear?

    Umm? Black suit/tux, white shirts, and whatever color ties your FI would like them to wear. They don't need to match the bridesmaids. Is there something more complicated here that I'm missing?

    A khaki or tan would look really good with those colors if you don't want to do a traditional black.

    Black suit, ivory shirts, yours groomsmen could have purple ties if you wish but not necessary. Your dress is so classic I would recommend your groom doing just a basic black tie and vest.

    Her dress is much too formal for the men to be in khaki pants. Oh, and men don't need to wear ivory shirts. White is traditional formal for men. Trust me, the bride's dress won't look "dingy".
