So the other day, with less than 4 weeks left until the wedding (Eeeekkkkk!!!) I added another bridesmaid.
Let me give you some background info. This particular girl, who was also engaged, had originally been a bridesmaid. About a month and a half after I asked her, she called and told me that she could no longer be a bridesmaid because she didn't think she was going to be in the country (her now husband was in the Army and was stationed in Italy). They were supposed to get married in November and she was going to go over there and live with him. Of course I was bummed that she couldn't even be at the wedding, let alone be a bridesmaid. Well they ended up having to postpone the wedding because his leave wasn't granted. *Fast forward a few months* They just got married this past Saturday and I was honored to be a bridesmaid. All along, I had wanted her to be in our wedding but I had asked someone else. I know how most of you feel about numbers, but at the time I wanted my bridal party even. Anyway, getting ready with her for her big day made me realize again how much I still wanted her in mine and how much I did not care about numbers. So, I called her and asked her if she would still like to be a BM, or if she couldn't afford it, would she want to get ready with us. She was super excited that I had asked her which in turn made me even more excited!
Now, my question. We now have 5 GM and 6 BM. Each of the ladies is wearing a different color, and the guy they are walking with is wearing that color tie. Is it going to look weird if a guy walks with two girls wearing different colors or does anybody even pay that much attention to the GM?
