  • Noritake, out of the 3.

  • Noritake is going to be way less than the other two because it's the least expensive brand.  You're likely to get more of it at that price.  Just saying - this should be a consideration unless you are willing to complete it yourself (I would be, but most people aren't).

  • The noritake is definitely by far my favorite out of the three. I also think it is more timeless looking than the other two.

  • I don't like the Noritake. Too modern looking. I LOVE the Orsay. But I personally wouldn't register for it- I highly doubt you will receive many place settings at that price point. If you are willing to purchase it yourself- go for it. It's beautiful.

<div>This.  The Orsay is my favorite - it's also the most traditional by a long shot. Most china patterns were floral until the last 20-30 years or so, so I disagree with some PPs that the other two are "timeless." But I agree that you won't get much of the Orsay because it is very expensive.  If you are willing to complete it yourself, then I would register for it.  You can usually find deals on Orsay on replacements and ebay if you are patient.  </div><div>
</div><div>All this said, again if you aren't willing to complete it yourself go for the Noritake.  It 's too modern for my taste, but if you like it you will probably get a lot more of it than the Orsay.  Our china pattern is Lenox pearl platinum - about $130/place setting.  We received all the place settings, 8 accent plates, half the soup bowls, and every serving piece except the gravy boat.  My friends who registered for Mottehahdeh, Royal Crown Derby, and other expensive brands usually get abobut half their dinner plates, maybe 1/3 of the salad plates, and then a random teacup or two.  My favorite patterns of all times are from Royal Crown Derby, but I wasn't willing to ask people to spend that much.  I actually collect dinnerware and china as a hobby (H just loves this, let me tell you lol), so I decided that if I wanted Royal Crown Derby someday I would just collect it slowly over time.</div>
