Length of time for ceremony music selections

I am currently looking into songs to put on CD for my ceremony. For those who are, or have, done the same, how many seconds did you average for the wedding party and bride? My coordinator said about 20 seconds for the wedding party and 15 for the bride. I know time probably feels longer in the moment but that seems short to me, at least the different in time. I would think the difference would be longer than 5 seconds. There's one song I'm considering for me. There one minute of the song I love and the chorus is 20 seconds. Thought this would be easy! Haha

    That does seem short but I guess it depends on how long the aisle is and how many in your bridal party. Which song are you thinking of?

    Correction: she said 20 to 25 minutes for wedding party. I keep debating on my music. I have thrown around different ideas. The idea before last was Billy Joel's Just The Way You Are or Elton John's Your Song. But I recently listened to a past favorite song of mine which I am now considering and the words are just about perfect, Hanson's Every Word I Say.     I know time goes by quickly but when you time songs, that isn't much song time if you want particular verses, etc

    Have you checked out any you tube videos of a ceremony at your venue? That's how I figured out timing for my music.

    We only usedabout 45 seconds of our processional song.  My BMs walked so darn quick.  I stood at the top of the aisle for at leat 10 seconds just to get to my favorite part at the beginning of the song - lol.
