drammmaaaa

So, tomorrow is my rsvp send back date, (a little early I know however, the venue wants is back by the 15th, this give us time for stragglers).  Anywho, I called my grandmother (who is like my mom) and asked her if she knew about some no show rsvps.

My uncle was one who never sent back his rsvp so she called him to ask him if he was taking my great-grandmother as she lives between both of their homes.  She picked up her cell phone while she was still on the phone with him so I could hear some what her the end of their conversation...Back story like no one from my family is going because it's too "far" (about an hour away).

I hear her ask my uncle if he was going to walk me down the aisle, before she asked me if that was okay or if thats what I even wanted!  When she got on the phone with me, I asked her what she was talking about and then she told me she asked my uncle to walk me down the aisle...

Now I knew at this point most of my family was not going to be there, so I already had it figured out, I told her I wish she would have asked me about the idea first, and she completely flipped on me.  Called my uncle and told him to forget it, everything.

All I wish is that she talked to me first, I never thought it would blow up like this and now it has I dont know what to do!!!

Any suggestions?

Re: drammmaaaa

  • It sounds like it's over at this point. I would just let it be and hope it blows over.

From now on it might be best if you call people who didn't send in their RSVPs yourself rather than having your grandmother handle it for you.
