  Sallie Tee's is right there and the food is great.   They have a semi private room too that's usually used for regular dinner guests but I would think that you can reserve it.

  Thanks and I love it there but due to Hurricane Sandy...it's gone!! Any other suggestions?

  Oh no - are you kidding?  That's too bad, I loved that place.  I think most things in Sea Bright are gone too, but FI used to live in Long Branch so I'll ask him for some suggestions.

  I live in the area.  Here are restaurants that are open and can accomodate a private party and are all really good:

  - Salt Creek Grill in Rumson (right over the Rumson bridge)

  - Windansea in Highlands (yes, they are open)

  - Inlet Cafe in Highlands (open)

  - Bahr's Landing in HIghlands (open)

  - Charley's Ocean Grill in Long Branch

  - Rooney's in Long Branch

  Thanks was thinking about Charley's but just bad reviews...out of all of those...which would you suggest??

  I would suggest either Salt Creek or Windansea.  Both have great food and are on the water so you'll have a great view at either location.
