Jeep cake-Am I crazy?

So, when I first started dating my fiance he was driving this bright green jeep and the love of his life was his rescue dog. Since, then I have slowly made my way up to the top of that list of amazing things in his life

. The joke has always been that his jeep, dog, and I are the three loves of his life and depending on the day, the order is debatable.

I have had this idea in my head that when we get married, I want to surprise him with a grooms cake of him and his puppy in his green jeep.

Since then I have come to realize how pricey weddings are.

So- my question is ....does anyone know about how much it would cost to get a cake like this? Am I nuts for wanting to keep this in the budget?

Any help would be great!

My fiance has a similar list and likes to recite it often, except his is his dog, football, and his mom... and now me.

As someone who bakes for a hobby, please understand that doing any cake in a special shape is going to be very time intensive and also very expensive. I haven't priced out anything like that because I know it's out of my budget before looking... Of course, if your budget is several hundred dollars, then go for it!

That said, there are some less expensive ways you could incorporate the Jeep. If I were you, I would look for a toy Jeep that looks like his that you could put on top of a cake. If you ice it in chocolate, you could even make it look like mud.

I also like this one, and it would be less expensive too.

Just top a round cake with those things. That's what we did bc H loved his jeep, cat, and the Saints and Mardi Gras No need to do a cake shaped like one of those things....way expensive.
