I've had a weird, stressful today and I have the day off tomorrow. I want to drink wine and talk about stuff. Anybody in?

I'm around and have some Barefoot 'Refresh' white wine in the fridge, but I think if I have even one glass I'll pass out. So. Tired. Why was your day stressful?

I got in a little bit of trouble at work for using the internet too much. ...oops. I thought it was going to be a much bigger deal than it turned out to be; I only got a slap on the wrist. I stressed about it for several hours before it was resolved, though, so that wasn't fun.

I also had several strange interactions with other people. Just weirdos.

What kind of wine is Barefoot Refresh? Is it refreshing? Also, did I see somewhere that you're looking for (or maybe that you got) a new job? Or am I making that up?

I'm here. Just got off a plane and helped a co-worker polish off a bottle before getting on my flight. So not looking forward to work in the morning:(

Yup, I started my new job on Monday! I like it so far. I'm doing marketing and administration for a summer camp. Of course, right now is pretty much their busiest time of year since they are prepping for the summer but don't have any of the summer staff working yet. I'm used to rolling out of bed at 9pm and working in my pj's all day, so it's a BIG change, but I think it was the right move for me. That sucks that you got in trouble, I would have been totally stressed most of the day as well. Just remind yourself that NOBODY cares about this 'incident' or whatever nearly as much as you do. That always makes me feel better when thinking back on an awkward situation. Eta: I rolled out of bed at 9AM for my old job. Not Pm. I did not host my own nekkid web cam show for money, I swear.

It was coming. I spent the last three days in a training on how to negotiate.

I learned that I'm really good at fake selling PVC. Apparently, I missed my calling;)

What's your beverage of choice tonight? I drank a local MO red while I was killing time for my flight. It was surprisingly good.

Yeah I'm basically over it. There was just this couple hour waiting period between finding out that I was going to get in trouble and then actually having the "disciplinary" conversation with my boss that drew my nerves really tight. It ended up being really no big deal, but I'm still feeling the aftershocks of the stress a little bit.

Congrats on the new job! You were with KTPA before, right?

You would 100% fit right in with my IRL friends. We are very classy. As in 12 years after college, we still pre-game and have been known to drink in the shower. I'm also an expert at sneaking booze in and out of venues. Last bachelorette party I was at, I snuck a 1.5L bottle of Grey Goose out the door of the club we were at.

I'm sure its a skill my parents would be proud of;)

Also, drinking in the shower sounds amazing and I'm kind of wondering why it's never occurred to me before.

Done. A 750 mL bottle of clear alcohol will fit in a regular size plastic water bottle. It's usually my go to, but I have had friends use old suncreen bottles at concert venues when no outside liquid was allowed. I like bring crystal light lemonade packs and make vodka lemonade.

The shower bevs were something I picked up from my sorority sisters. I knew the sorority would be good for something!

One of my favorite smuggled liquor events happened in Myrtle Beach on a girls golf vacation. Apparently every course we were at had never seen a girl foursome (say what?!?), and then were equally shocked that we liked to drink and golf.

Due to the lack of beer carts on the courses in the Spring, we added an extra "club" to one of our bags. The first day we enjoyed some North Dakota "Red Eye" (Everclear and flavor cooked into it), and the second day we had bloody mary's. I'm trying to find one of these for FI's bachelor party, and load it with Johnny Walker for him.

Ah, the wonderful and mystical shower beer. When BF lived in the dorms him and his suitemates had a blastic chair they would put in the shower to sit and enjoy said shower beer(s).
