  I think black will be fine. I am usually completely anti black & brown combo but my friend's wedding this summer we wore chocolate brown dresses and guys wore black tuxes and it was fine. 
  
  You could also try maybe a darker Khaki color suit. Light khaki might feel more summer-like, but the a darker shade might work better.

  No. White, brown, grey - all tuxes.
  
  Our girls are wearing brown chiffon, the guys are wearing black tuxes, brown vests and a black and brown tie. Looks really nice.

  Our girls wore satin brown dresses and the guys wore black tuxes with black vests and ties.
  
  Usually black and brown don't look good on the same person. If they're on 2 people standing next to each other it's completely different.
