Thank god it's finally here. This week has been the longest ever.

What are you up to this weekend?

Tonight I have a GS Mother-Daughter Sock Hop, and then I might go over to BF's for the night. Tomorrow mom and I are doing a 5K with the puppies as our Mother's Day thing, and then I'm going out to her place to help with painting and other assorted things as they continue trying to move. Sunday I think I'm going to sleep in, but we'll see.

I hear you. I've worked 14-16 hour days all week and I'm beat.

I'm hoping to leave early today (please, please, please) so I can shower (TMI but I haven't had time to shower for two days) and spend time with H and the dog. Saturday I really want to go work out (haven't had time for two weeks to do that) and take the dog to the dog park. Sunday I just want to sleep. We'll see if work will let me do any of the above.

Hmm, for the first time in a long time, tonight I have absolutely no idea what's going on. What is this spontaneity I am experiencing?

Tomorrow BF and I are moving my DB from one residence to another. We can't pack into my car, so that ought to make things interesting, and he has no boxes for moving ...

Sunday BF and I are spending the day with my mom's entire family for Mother's Day.

ETA: Is my font smaller, or is it just me? Eyes have been funky lately ...

ETA (again because I am total scatterbrain): Oh yeah and Sunday is my birthday! So I don't know what we're doing yet to celebrate (clearly not this weekend), but I know my mom got me a yarn ball winder.

This week has been long! Our server at work crashed Tuesday night so Wednesday and Thursday at work were completely unproductive days. I maybe got a few things done on Thursday but today I will be playing catch-up/ trying to figure out which emails got lost in the crash.

Tonight I'm heading to Athens which is about an hour and a half away from me. My high school friends and I are all getting together to celebrate some graduations and birthdays this weekend. There are a few bars in Athens that we will probably go to. I'm staying with a friend of mine so it will be nice to catch up with all of them. I'll be hanging out with them all day Saturday and then Sunday I'm coming home and FI and I are cooking dinner for this mother for Mother's Day.

My mom is at the beach all next week with my dad so we won't celebrate Mother's Day with her until she gets back. It should be a nice relaxing weekend though. I need to clean my apartment though.

Here's to the weekend!

I can't wait until this day ends. One of my closest friends is in town from PA, and I haven't seen her since November. So there will probably be lots of catching up, and hopefully lots of yummy drinks and food.

There are no plans other than that, and I like it like that.

I'm so glad it is Friday. DH and I don't really have any plans. Watching more playoff hockey on TV. . . maybe working on some career development stuff (I need to flesh out my CV/resume so I can apply for jobs in the next few months). Maybe some cleaning and working out (for sure on that one). Nice relaxing weekend for once

Happy Friday, Thank Goodness! I have errands to run today otherwise I'm SUPER nervous about the first race of the outrigger canoe season. Its tomorrow in San Diego and so I have to wake up at 3:30 am since we need to be on location at 6 to help rig up the canoes and my team races first at 8 am. I'm sure I'll be there all day Saturday. Come home and flop on the bed after a nice hot shower and sleep. Sunday I hope to take Danish Man to go see Iron Man 3, but I have mother's day brunch with my mom and mother's day dinner with Danish Man's mom. Damn packed weekend!

Peek a 5K with the puppies and mom sounds so awesome!

Today is kind of my "weekend" because I work tomorrow and Sunday. I went to the gym, and will be going grocery shopping, making dinner, and having a Netflix date with myself tonight. I have been trying to watch this movie all week but keep getting interrupted - mostly by BF, which is always fine by me. But I'm looking forward to some me-time.

Like I said, I have two 12-hour shifts coming up this weekend. Usually my weekend staff always does a potluck, but we are ordering in for Mother's Day. As the only person who hasn't birthed no babies, I think I will also make my co-workers some sort of yummy dessert as a surprise.

And BF will either make or pick up dinner for after I get home from work tomorrow night, so I am happy about that.

Ooh, also, I'm excited because my best friend just got engaged last night! She has been my real-life NEY for a looooong time and has been the best listener and advice-giver to me, so I am super-happy for her! I get to see her Monday so I can see the bling and hear all about how it happened.

This weekend, DH and I are going to MIL's for Mother's Day. It'll probably be the last time we see her before her wedding weekend.

(In case I forgot to mention it, her BF proposed a month or so ago. They're getting married June 1.)

So...that'll be fun. The only the between me and a fun weekend/more job until is folding and putting away 5 loads of laundry. God help me.

Happy Friday, my loves!

I'm actually off work today and Sunday, but I have to work tomorrow. Oh well. At least Saturdays are usually pretty easy.

I'm being lazy today, but on Sunday I'm planning to go for a long-ish run. I've got a trail half coming up a week from tomorrow and I've sort of gotten off track on my training. (Side note: does anybody else find that they can focus on dieting OR exercising, but not both? I consistently go back and forth between weeks where I run a lot but eat like crap and weeks where I eat really well but am lazy as hell. It's odd.)

Hey ladies! I'm currently in the middle of nowhere in Connecticut in my parents huge RV so there's that. I'm staying with them until Sunday morning and then bf and I are taking his mom out for dinner. I won't see my parents again until October or November so they have been loading me up with lectures and critiques to show their love. I love my parents and appreciate all they've done but it hasn't stopped since last night. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

We'll be going on the usual open house tour tomorrow with an added trip to the jeweler to hopefully replace H's wedding ring.

Sunday maybe I'll go shopping with my mom or take her to lunch. Not sure yet.

Is it still okay to gripe about the new layout, or has everyone gotten that out of their system already?

@Stitches: Happy Birthday!

The only thing I know we are doing this weekend is going to a bunch of parks to look at their picnic shelter and pavilions. We had to further reduce our wedding costs to move forward with planning, so we are now looking to have a brief ceremony and picnic reception at one of the many parks in our general area. I think are looking at 6 or 7 locations over the weekend.

Other than that, I am just happy to have some free time with FI. It has been a busy week with PTO events and meetings.

In a few I am heading off to a fundraiser for the theater I am a part of. It should be a good time.

Tomorrow we are visiting another wedding venue and later on is my niece's dance recital. I can't wait for that and then celebrating mother's day with my family. Sunday I'm not sure what we are doing possibly and hopefully something with FI's mom.

Tonight I bartend until close. Tomorrow my friend and I are starting my birthday weekend with pedicures and lunch. At night the two of us plus our guys are going to dinner and drinks.

Sunday we have two cookouts. One at my grandma's and the other and FI's sister's house.

I worked morning shift today and work night shifts tomorrow and Sunday. I offered to work Sunday because we have several mothers that I would rather see them get the day off if they'd like. I got to see our upcoming promotional items and I am going to have to work extra hard not to eat everything.
